Did you know that the lint buildup in your clothes dryer vent is one of the most dangerous fire causing items in your home? It's true. Every year, thousands are displaced and their homes either damaged or destroyed due to neglected dryer vents.
This problem can easily be solved by yourself or by us, if you take the time to inspect your dryer vent, at least twice a year. It should also be cleaned as needed. The cleaning of the lint trap that is done through normal use of the dryer is not enough. That trap only catches about 25% or so of the smaller lint. The remainder is sent through the dryer vent, where it begins to collect. Not only is this a fire hazard, but it is also a huge energy waster.
Homes or town homes with excessively long dryer vent runs or several bends in the pipe are more prone to clogging up.
